Wednesday Riding for Kids was established in 2001 and has been a highly anticipated annual charity ride for over 25 years now. Proceeds from this ride directly benefit the Arizona Children’s Burn Camp, Camp Courage, held every June in Prescott, Arizona. Therefore, it is our mission to ensure you not only enjoy a great ride, but that you will do so knowing that you have contributed to a child’s success–A reward that lasts a lifetime!
WHAT IS CAMP COURAGE?
Camp Courage is a weeklong event held each year in the cool pines of Prescott Arizona that helps children with serious burn injuries in an atmosphere predicated upon comfort and friendship. These children have the opportunity to be themselves in groups that are outgoing, friendly and non-judgmental and with counselors who ensure the experience will last a lifetime. This annual camp is provided by the Arizona Burn Foundation at no cost to the children’s families. The campgrounds and activities are made possible each year through generous donations such as yours.
