Potter's Breakfast at the Bistro Ride
Potter's Breakfast at the Bistro Ride
July 6, 20246:00 am - 12:00 pm Bistro St. Michael, 100 S Montezuma St, Prescott, AZ 86303, USA
THE MEET UP: Meets at Sonoran Circle K (303 & I-17) @ 6:00am - KSU 6:30am RC – Keith "Potter" Preston Approximate miles – 180 (round trip) Ride difficulty – Medium (mountain grades and curves) Estimated 1-way travel time w/stops: 2.5 hours
THE RIDE: We’ll be bound for breakfast at Bistro St. Michael’s, located in beautiful downtown Prescott. The Bistro offers a bountiful menu filled with beautiful breakfast items like Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, and of course, bacon and a cup of brew. Along the way, our first stop at the base of Yarnell Hill will give riders a chance to basically show their best hand of odometer poker and bring home a prize before buttoning up and busting our way up through some of our favorite bending roads. Be there or be square.
CLOSED EVENT: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Approved guests are always welcome, but must sign a release waiver pre-ride.
July 13, 20246:00 am - 11:00 am Blue Hills Cafe, 12262 E Bradshaw Mountain Rd # 1, Dewey, AZ 86327, USA
THE MEET UP: Meets at New River Shell (I-17 & New River Rd) @ 6:30am - KSU 7:00am RC – Ken "Spike" Flaig Approximate miles – 100 (round trip) Ride difficulty – Over Easy
THE RIDE: Spike's taking us up to the Blue Hills Café for an early "breakfast and bail" ride. The folks at the Blue Hills Café are always accommodating and this is one of our long-time favorites (Just ask Buttercup about it sometime). We'll zip up the mountain early, catch some great breakfast together, and zip right back down early to beat the summer heat. That's how we do it here at HOG 93--No summer sun is going to take the ride out of this club! See you all there.
CLOSED EVENT: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Approved guests are always welcome, but must sign a release waiver pre-ride.
July 20, 20246:30 pm - 10:00 pm Saguaro Lake, Arizona 85264, USA
THE MEET UP: Meets at Sonoran Circle K (303 & I-17) @ 6:30pm - KSU 7:00pm RC – Tyrah "ShortStop" Lawson Approximate miles – 95 (round trip) Ride difficulty – Easy
THE RIDE: Before you even think it, it's not that kind of ride. This ride is for all you star gazers who like to check out the moon and starry skies away from the city lights--Or even if you just appreciate a good evening ride. Shortstop is taking us on a nice, evening desert ride out to Saguaro Lake to check out July's near-full moon (go out Sunday night for the full Monty). We should get to the lake just a little after moonrise (7:36pm). This should be just about right for optimal lake viewing. Oh, and just so some of you know ahead of time (Ahem...Spike), we don't plan to see any other kinds of moon on this ride (Go Pooh-style on your own time).
CLOSED EVENT: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Approved guests are always welcome, but must sign a release waiver pre-ride.
