Ah yeah, there is nothing like a nice ride across the beautiful Tonto Basin and the extensive shoreline of Roosevelt Lake. With more than 60 miles of panoramic views to take in along the 188, you can’t go wrong with this ride! Planner is taking us southeast on the 188 for this one, which is the best direction to take-in the beautiful mountains vistas surrounding the Tonto Basin and Globe Miami area. After all that riding, we’ll need to catch some lunch at Guayo's On the Trail of course. This will be a nice long ride on what should be a beautiful Arizona day, so come on out and ride with us!

RC – Clive “Planner” Francis
Approximate miles – 260 (round trip)

Oh winter, with its icy roads, snow-capped peaks and blustery days….wait, that’s not us! Nope, in Arizona, we get to ride, ride, ride, all year long. But hey, we do have some limits, we can’t go high north, well not yet; but there’s always south. So, Short Stop’s taking us out to Wintersburg AZ via Wickenburg and the always beautiful Vulture Mine Road. Then it’s over to the Salome highway and some lunch at the Tin Top. Ah Arizona winters, you gotta love ’em…Let’s ride!
