Potter is leading us on a ride along one of our favorite routes into the Tonto Basin. This ride offers spectacular views of Roosevelt Lake and the surrounding mountains around Claypool and Miami, AZ. Buttercup’s taking us on another route we never get tired of, the Bagdad loop. This ride is always a crowd pleaser with its many twists & turns combined with a varying Arizona landscape; it is truly a unique ride. They took real good care of us at the Copper Country Grill last time we visited this quaint little mining town, so we’re gonna head back up there for lunch this time. Should be a great ride all around!

Tony “T’ Turbo” Harbeck is going to take us on a nice little ride out to Needle Rock for a picnic lunch. If you have never been out to this cool, near-town recreation site, you’re in for a treat. With direct access to the Verde River, this site is a sanctuary for many species of wildlife, including the endangered Bald Eagle and wild mustangs. It’s also a great spot for a picnic. We’ll take the long way of course.
Note: This is a very cool picnic destination, but Tonto Daily Pass or National Park Pass is required. There is a kiosk at the park entrance with passes for $12 or you can pick one up several different locations around the Valley, usually for around $8.
