Wrong Way’s Westside Lilo’s Lunch Ride
Wrong Way’s Westside Lilo’s Lunch Ride
March 1, 2025 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Westside Lilo's Cafe, 22855 AZ-66, Seligman, AZ 86337, USA
THE MEET UP: Meets at Sonoran Circle K (2575 Sonoran Desert Dr) @ 7:00am, KSU 7:30am RC: Len “Wrong Way” Tamboer Approximate miles – 292 (Round trip) Ride difficulty – Easy
THE RIDE: This Saturday, our very own Len “Wrong Way” Tamboer is taking us on a classic ride up to Seligman, located on the historic Route 66 in Arizona. This historic little town has inspired characters and locations for Disney’s animated films “Cars” and can also take credit for becoming the official birthplace of the “Historic Route 66”, designated a historic highway by the state of Arizona in 1978. Patrick and Lilo came to Seligman via Wiesbaden, Germany in 1962 and have been residents ever since. They opened up Westside Lilo’s in 1996 and it has since become a popular dining destination, offering up classic American/German dishes. This is a great destination and a great ride you will not want to miss. See ya there!
CLOSED EVENT: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Approved guests are always welcome, but must sign a release waiver pre-ride.

Torchy’s Taco Sponsor Support Ride
Torchy’s Taco Sponsor Support Ride
March 5, 2025 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm
THE MEET UP: Meets at Sonoran Circle K (2575 Sonoran Desert Dr) @ 4:30pm, KSU 5:00pm RC: Eddie “Squirrel” Galacci Approximate miles – 30m +100 Road Warrior Miles Ride difficulty – Rewarding
THE RIDE: Many of you might remember Heather Bowman from Raising Canes; She raised several thousand dollars for our Riding for Kids charity on her own accord in recent years. Now she is bringing her marketing talent to Torchy's Tacos and she wants to make the same commitment for our charity effort with Torchy’s as sponsor. She needs our support first, though, and she is hoping we can bring a lot of bikes to the grand opening of Torchy's Tacos Peoria this Wednesday. Her executives and management team will be on-site all day, and we can help make her shine in front of them by roaring into the grand opening with a bunch of bikes---we all know what an impression that can make! Heather has personally asked for our help today, and this will help her introduce our HOG chapter and our Riding for Kids charity to the Torchy’s Taco executives. Heather has done so much for us and we know her level of commitment to our fund-raising efforts, so lets’ make this happen for her. Just a little effort on our part can make a big difference, so please come meet us and invite anyone you know that rides to join us. Oh yeah, lest we forget, we’ll also be having some awesome tacos for dinner, and on a Wednesday! See you all there.

Planner’s Little Italy by Vulture Ride
Planner’s Little Italy by Vulture Ride
March 8, 2025 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Gila Bend- Little Italy Pizza Italian Restaurant, 502 E Pima St, Gila Bend, AZ 85337, USA
THE MEET UP: Meets at Sonoran Circle K (2575 Sonoran Desert Dr) @ 8:00am, KSU 8:30am RC: Clive “Planner” Francis Approximate miles – 216 (Round trip) Ride difficulty – Easy
THE RIDE: Clive “Planner” Francis is taking us out to lunch at Little Italy this Saturday. But, as always, we will just have to take the long way there--via the twisty, curvy Vulture Mine Rd and out the historic Hwy 80 to Gillespie Dam as we make our way into Gila Bend. Little Italy is a family-owned favorite of ours (and apparently even the Royals, since Prince Harry has dined at this very same establishment on a previous visit to the States). Well, if it’s good enough for a prince, it’s good enough for us!
CLOSED EVENT: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Approved guests are always welcome, but must sign a release waiver pre-ride.

That's it, and Panda Express will donate a portion of food purchase to our Riding For Kids charity.

All financial donations go directly to Camp Courage in 2025. Camp Courage is a week long event held each year in the cool pines of Prescott Arizona, that helps children with serious burn injuries in an atmosphere predicated upon comfort and friendship. These children have the opportunity to be themselves in groups that are outgoing, friendly and non-judgmental and with counselors who ensure the experience will last a lifetime. This annual camp is provided by the Arizona Burn Foundation at no cost to the children’s families. The campgrounds and activities are made possible each year through generous donations such as yours.
